You know that the man deserves it, so when you have time feel free to do some cut and pasting and add to the bank of quotes.

The Il Ragno Reader (http://dirtcity.forumlivre.com/index.php?mforum=dirtcity&act=idx)

Not meant to be a forum, per se, just a repository - and a cyber monument.

Well I'm sure the spider will see this thread like the fucking Eye of Sauron and smite me with 5.2 witticisms per square inch.

And they'll go directly on the website, thus starting a feedback loop that will destroy the internet.

Sandwiches with french fries and cole slaw on the sandwich.

It's a sloppy state of affairs.

Curiously, Michael Musto will report that Il Ragno is ''unable to attend on account of a prior engagement."

False. Il Musto is more ''Dark Knight'' than he is Adam West.

They might suck, I'm not sure. I never ate a Primanti's samwich before midnight or sober. Been about 15 years. Still popular though.

We like alot of "lunch meat", kielbasi, hot sausage and shit like that.

We used to eat alot of Hunky food before the old Hunkies died and we forgot the recipes.

Pittsburgh! Fuck Yeah!

O'Zeb ... how come you remain in that frontier town? I can't imagine that it is the best cultural climate in which you would revel. Ya got ties there?

My mom is pretty old, so I really don't want to take off.

I've had the option of taking dual citizenship, but never took the opportunity to move.

Wrong answer.

What - and give up first-chair bassoon in the Edmonton Light Opera Society?

Right answer.

Once it's on the truck, it doesn't matter how far you go before you unload.

EDIT: I once made a 3000 miles move with 16 tons of shit. No harder than around the block.

I like Pittsburgh too, and there's lots of great places to eat. But let me dump a bit more on Primanti's.

I went to the one in Oakland. Packed wall-to-wall with screaming college kids. Could barely open my mouth wide enough to take a bite of the sandwich, with all those french fries sticking out of it. The fries have the effect of soaking up all the saliva in the mouth so that there's no hope of swallowing without a drink.

Maybe Primanti's should find a way of stuffing a Coke into the sandwich too.

Zeb should move to Dublin. Curiously enough, one of ''Bobina's people'' - another fine Edmonton native - did just that about a year or two ago.

Nope, he missed out on it by a year or something. His Grandfather was/is Irish. Funnily enough, he is also a musician.

The Edmonton diaspora is a sadly unremarked upon phenomenon.

You never know - the nice thing about freelancing is that you can do it from anywhere.

The only one I've had there that I care for is the kielbasa. The rest are, as you pointed out, too dry.

Cowtown beats Edmonchuck hands down. They have Stampede, more chinooks and closer to the mountains. If only Eddy hadn't imported all those fucking piping engineers. :disagree:

Here's one of my favourite Uncle Raggers quotes;

"What do whites get out of diversity?

You mean besides the tingly thrill you get when you're truly enlightened? Well, how about the warm, slathered-with-butter feeling that comes from knowing that, dammit, you're just plain better than those godawful white racist fools, blinded by their hate and stupidity, who selfishly cling to the mean-spirited old ways and ruin Real Life for the rest of us."

:lmao: :agree:
