Where has Woggolo been? I was just thinking that earlier and now this post. Speak of the devil!

34 members 'eh? Hmmm, LRod's new LF forum has 43 after two weeks, I think it'll actually turn into something good after awhile.

Where the fuck did he see Solyaris? I don't think even the Russian language version has all the original reels. I know the English language version doesn't.

There's little left in the movie about the decades of research on the Sentient Ocean, which Kelvin originally spent a great deal of time reflecting on, so we'd better understand the eternal frustration in human-alien communications. On that subject, Fiasco and Eden are just as good reads.

Why would you even watch it. Unwatchable crap, the Tartovsky version, and even more unwatchable crap is that Clooney version. I could tape a handycam to my dog's head, let it run around, release that as the Hitler-Barassi version, and it would still be better. Just read the Lem original.

You may be confused. Most likely, some occurrences that happened in the book were omitted from the movie.

The film was boring. I hated it.
