As wartime atrocities go, pissing on enemy corpses barely registers on the scale. The Obama administration's ostentatious display of indignation over this incident would be comical were it not for the fact that the pissing marines are in real trouble now. Their crime? Embarrassing the administration, of course.

It wouldn't have been any different under Bush. By the moral reckoning of America's ruling establishment, pissing on enemy corpses on-camera is a far greater crime than the unrecorded extermination of an entire village.
