White's win again! Take that, Jewish science! Suck my ruler!
Thread title: E=mc˛ = gibberish
I was looking into a clearification of what exactly E=mc˛ means, or proves. Here is a neat page that describes it. However, I say the formula, and explanation of it, is gibberish, phoney bologne made up by a 26 year old
mind.
E=mc˛ means:
Energy = mass(measured in kilograms) * speed of light squared.
Ifcourse, SOL by itself wasnt enough for Einstein, he needed to square it!
from:
E=mc2 Explained
"matter and energy are really different forms of the same thing."
Really? Like ice = water = steam = h2o. Aha.
Ifcourse, I dont see how a basketball at rest could equal energy, unless I bounce it. Nor does gasoline by itself give off energy or is useful unless it is poured into a car's gas tank. How does squaring SOL fit in? No idea.
"Matter can be turned into energy, and energy into matter."
ok. And how exactly did Einstein come to this conclusion? Now, yes, I could burn wood or coal or oil and get energy; but can I sprinkle magical dust or wave a wond like Harry Potter on energy and turn it back into wood or
coal, or into gold or diamonds, or Kate Upton?
"Einstein's formula tells us the amount of energy this mass would be equivalent to, if it were all suddenly turned into energy."
But since he had never done it, how would he know? It's like not knowing what aliens look like until they land on their spaceship and say howdy Earthlings. Yes, you can speculate, they are primates like us, or insectoid, or
amphibian, but no one knows.
"to find the energy, you multiply the mass by the square of the speed of light"
I see. So we multiply SOL by itself, and multiply that by mass... and voila you gets energy! ok, guess we no longer need oil from Arab nations.
BTW, why not square the speed of sound? Or more logically, the force of gravity?
"all the energy in the full kilogram of water, ...equivalent is close to 10 million gallons of gasoline!"
Now that's just silly. If you could use water as energy, then price of gas would drop to $0.01c.
Why dont I just turn water into gasoline then by multiplying its mass by SOL˛, and not pay the heating company for oil to heat my home in the Winter no more.
Anyway, since nothing in the universe is faster than light, how can we get speeds SOL˛
which is:
186,300 miles per second x 186,300 = 34,707,690,000 mps
If that's truly possible, than did Einstein claim faster than light travel is possible? Can matter be send at such speeds? And what's the point of doing that anyway?
But why stop at C˛, why not C4, or C6?
Thus, Energy = mass(1kg) * 34,707,690,000mps
Which tells us what? How is that info relevant or useful to anyone? If mass cannot be converted into energy anywhere at any time, then E=mc˛ is useless. I surely have never seen water turned into gasoline; nor
energy into food, nor gold.
Speed of Light | Velocity of Light | Travel | mph | kilmometer | km | meter | per hour | per second | mps | special relativity | albert einstein | e=mc2
"E=mc˛ and the... constancy of light speed are both incorrect"
Einstein was Wrong about E=MC2 - The Living Universe book - J.Carter
"Einstein wanted to believe that “matter” could be converted into energy (photons) at a time when he didn’t even know about antimatter. This cannot happen."
"matter has the potential to be converted into enormous amounts of energy. This idea is simply not true."
