Iran on Monday resumed the export of kerosene to Iraq via Mehran's border crossing after a gap of nine months, said the head of the border crossing, Mohammad Asadi.
Kerosene exports via the international and commercial Mehran crossing in the western Iranian province of Ilam was suspended due to a shortage of storage space in Iraq.
Asadi said 300 tons of kerosene is exported to Iraq every day through the crossing, adding that the amount will be increased to 2,000 tons a day.
