Agree, except I'll take it further and suggest that traditional notions of 'honor' have no rightful place in modern warfare. "Don't fire 'til you see the whites of their eyes" is a great quote, but it needs to stay in the pages of a history book. Back when battles didn't even last an hour because lines of men would fire on each other with muskets at point blank, sure, it was honorable to meet almost literally face to face on the field of battle. It ain't like that anymore.

Francis Marion, one of my heroes, was one of the early originators of modern psy-ops. It's not helpful to make sure the enemy sees you out of some lame notion of honor - it's helpful to demoralize the enemy by raiding his supplies and attacking while hidden. If the redcoats hadn't have insisted on wearing, well, red coats and practicing their marching in broad daylight, they'd have had a better chance against the revolutionaries, who utilized primitive camouflage.

No. I did a simulation and passed my instructors test with flying colors. I'm confident that I could apply what I learned in a real life situation.

It all ended because the original inhabitants of America refused to fight in the open. The cowardly devils liked to ambush good Christians and shoot them with arrows of malice. Later we used the strategy to fight Britain because we couldn't beat them any other way. Now everyone uses this cowardly form of fighting.

No wants to suck poisonous gas into their lungs and be asphyxiated. That depends on how the gas effects the human body of course. You could just inhale poisonous gas and vomit up your organs which would probably also asphyxiate you. Some gases burn the skin and do the same when you inhale it. So it's like burning your insides up and you just die of shock. However, being dismembered alive and chopped into unrecognizable pieces by axes with blades as sharp as a diamonds edge is by far the worse fate.

Why? If we follow your line of reasoning to it's logical pinnacle, we'd conclude that the only time a fight is fair is for two men of the same size and fitness level fight under stringent rules. That only happens in rings, not in the real world.

I only apply fair to being open and ready to fight. What do they call it when you throw an unexpected punch at an opponent? A sucker punch. They don't call it the honorable punch. What do they call it when you hit someone below the belt? A cheap shot. They don't call it the fair shot. We follow rules in the boxing ring but not rules on the battle field.

Sucker-punches and cheap-shots win a lot more fights. Want a good one? Shove your left hand in someone's face and then throw a right knee into the thigh, groin or liver. Or(if they're not really drunk) gently toss them your keys, a pack of cigs, etc.. When they instinctively reach to catch the object, put a boot to the crotch. Put your thumb in their eye, bite their nose/ear,fingers,throat. But most of all... use a weapon.

Punching a nigger is ok. Kicking him with steeltoes is better. Hitting him with a barstool is better yet. Hitting him in the chest with 3 or 4 slugs is the best.
