Linderoni apparently doesn't realize that by praising Mencken and Twain for the amount of "quotables" they've written, he's only confirming Sándor's point: that is, that he's all flash, one liners, and sound bites.

I've often thought this myself, that Linderoni writes a good headline but otherwise lacks substance.

More importantly, at a glance it appears that Linder knows very little about art, music, religion or science - although he happily preaches on the topics with all the bum-slippery swagger of the farm's best-hung donkey. Luckily, I care less about his opinion of Bach than I do about - say - Shania Twain's, so I'll probably just forget about him for another couple of years and go get on with my fucking life.

Linder bans anyone with an ounce of sense. I always liked Sandor even though he was a jerk, because he was obviously super-smart and actually had something of substance to say, unlike most VNN folks. Linder values sycophants over quality people, which shows why he is to be avoided.

Sandor died on his feet, respect to him for that.

Linder has a big problem with christians, especially southern american christians, especially of the protestant tradition. the fact that these folk have been the foot soldiers in wars and movements since before the U S was founded he realizes yet he denigrates them and outright dismisses them.

Now he seems to have turned on the Italians, with comments that are as closed minded as any Jimmy Swaggart type ever made.

I find the rabid atheism on VNN to be too over the top is why I cannot take the forum seriously, so I occasionally read it for comedy and the chimpout factor.

The best subforum now at VNN is the British subforum and Linder has long ago dismissed the Brits so I guess he leaves them in peace to have at it.

Linder and another group of a half dozen or so of them over there still believe that when the dark age comes and the collapse is upon us they will be called on to be our leaders. That is pure comedy.

Sandor was banned because he called Linder a Jew. Calling anyone a Jew without proof is a bannable offense on VNN.
