I don't think none of the candidates so far will win against Obama..unless he has a huge scandal that will hit him between now and then..or the republicans keep looking and find someone good..and a buh..why would I want Palin?..and I could also start a write in campaign in hopes of recruiting Clint Eastwood..lol..not going to happen though..

Don't be surprised to learn that she doesn't need to try too hard to get ahead of him in the race.

'Shock poll:' Palin trails Obama by 5 points in new national poll
Amanda Coyne | Sep 20, 2011

...

In the poll, Obama is neck and neck with Romney, leading by 46-44, but Obama leads Perry by 50 percent to 41 percent. Obama leads Bachmann 53 percent to 40 percent.

Another undeclared candidate, former former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani would do the best against the president, leading Obama by 49 percent to 42 percent.

The poll surveyed 1,042 adults on Sept. 13-14.
Let's not underestimate the major scandal that is Obamacare.

It all depends on how you define scandal: Obama is scandal-free if you define scandal as sexual impropriety or overt corruption, says Emptywheel. But ask liberals, and they'll say Obama lied about supporting a public health insurance option, "smothered what was left of rule of law" by protecting Bush's torture system, and concocted "new ways to bail out the banksters from the consequences of their crimes." This scandalous record may actually be one of the biggest strikes against Obama in 2012.
"The scandal is that Jonathan Alter doesn't see the scandal"
