Student Sets Teacher's Hair On Fire
clickondetroit.com ![]() OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. -- A Clawson High School senior was arraigned on multiple assault charges after police said he lit his teacher's hair on fire during a prank. Robert Michael Grey, 17, pleaded not guilty at the 52-4 District Court to one count of felonious assault and one count of assault and battery. Police said Grey wanted to play a prank on his teacher and told his friends, "Watch this" and set his female teacher's hair on fire. Grey then reportedly assaulted a male teacher, said police. School officials said the female teacher was OK, but her hair was singed and burned. The male teacher also did not suffer any injuries. Grey was released on a $1,000 personal bond and was ordered not to have contact with the victims in the case and not to have contact with any Clawson High School students and its facilities. A preliminary exam was scheduled on Feb. 2. |

![]() Do you remember when trouble at school meant a fist fight? Police say a young man in Clawson when way beyond that by setting a teacher's hair on fire. As FOX 2's Brad Edwards explains, that student is now facing a long list of charges. (That reporter is a giant douchebag, "he got up in his grill".:eyebrow
